Community Guidelines

Failure to adhere to these guidelines and act in good faith will result in a ban.

  1. Be excellent to one another!
  2. Disrespectful language, communication intended to upset, harassment, and slurs of any kind, even in casual conversation, are unacceptable.
  3. Pirated material is strictly forbidden.
  4. NSFW content is strictly forbidden.
  5. Solicitation, non-SWRPG self promotion, & spam will result in a kick/ban.
  6. Vitriolic political and religious discussion will not be tolerated in text channels. Keep these discussions to private DMs.
  7. Promotion: Advertisement of paid services is only allowed with @Admin permission.
  8. We are an inclusive community of all genders, races, religions, and sexual orientations. Discrimination, by players or GMs, is unacceptable.
  9. Spoilers and post-release discussion should be avoided. Post-release discussion is relaxed 30 days after global release.

No rule #10 on the topic of thread necromancy and/or avoiding topics that are known to the admins to ALWAYS cuase problems (like the “No Alignment Disscussion” on many D&D groups)?

No, he trusts us to be responsible, and for more level-headed community members and admins to intervene if necessary. But this community has not had much trouble with such things, or at least only very rarely and on relatively minor issues.

Also, thread necromancy is such a mixed bag that outright banning it is usually a bad idea, especially so with this community (smaller, plus fewer idiots and trolls).
