Critical injuries with little impact

Both those injuries can be bad for Face or Brains characters that are expected to be hacking the terminal so everyone can escape, or making that pivotal Warfare check to figure out a crucial detail of the mass combat they find themselves in, etc.

That is true, but quite honestly the chances of that happening are rather slim. Too many things have to line up simultaneously for that to have any real effect.

Iā€™m going to keep it as-is for my games, but I see ā€œuntil healedā€ as a very viable alternative, although possibly too severe in some games where healing a crit may be particularly difficult given the nature of the game and/or the makeup of the party.
