Episode 2 - Persuit of The Moebius

Session 1

[Something I forgot to mention about the previous session. RX-1B refused to leave Karazak without a replacement Dr, since he was leaving (especially given the current state of half the residents), so using the Medical Droid’s head in Atelia’s bag, and some scraps from Rex’s workshop they built a new Medical droid]

The newly renamed Helia and her ragtag crew dock at Spice Terminus, right at the end of the long arm of the station, where the berths are cheapest. It is a hole. Dank, dingy, and run down.

Rex goes about trying to procure the part they need to fix her hyperdrive, RX goes about trying to procure Neuro-paralytics for “reasons” [The player would later reveal to me in private that it was because he trusted none of his crew mates and needed to be able to pacify them easily if necessary ], and the rest of the crew took the opportunity to ask around about Cyscc and The Moebius.

Within minutes Atelia has been releved of all her creds by a wiley pickpocket [whilst this may appear to be the behaviour of a dooshy GM, in my defence, this was intended to lead to a short chase, and a confrontation with the young scallywag that would let us all learn something about one of the PCs, in how they interact with a thieving but starving child. How was I to know the roll would go so well she had zero clue it had even happened. In hindsight I clearly made the kid’s Skulduggery too good.]

In their quest for info, the first bar they come across is Stanchion Seven. A seedy, dimly lit hole, filled with all manner space farers.

Asking around about Veneb they’re surprised to find the locals strangely informative.
• Veneb and the Moebius were here less than a week ago.
• There was some unpleasantness at a cantina called Zero G, up on G deck.
• They’re not the only ones who’ve been asking around about the Moebius, there was a youngTwi’lek fella in here just yesterday.
• Cyssc Veneb ejected one of her own crew from a station airlock.
• One of the crew is still locked up in the Station Sec Cells. [This last one was not true, Threat was rolled. They find out later that this chap was bailed out by Veneb, and is the aforementioned airlock ejectee]

While this was occuring Rex and RX both successfully acquired their items, and independently returned to the ship.

Nawara, Atelia, and Hican then went on to find the Zero G Cantina, where 2 fortuitous meetings would occur.
They ask the bartender about the Moebius and her crew, and rumours of a bar fight (at this point Atelia also tries to pay for drinks, and realises she has been relieved of her money). He tells them about a big Wookie and 2 Trandoshans that got into a fight with some local street toughs about a week ago. It got split up by a big Station Security team, and shortly after this, The Moebius left.
He also points out a young Twi’lek sat drinking on his own, who’d also been asking about the Moebius. [Enter new PC Naiem Lakahsa]
Nawar and Hican start up a conversation with him while Atelia looms threateningly behind.
Naiem tells them he’s tracked them this far, in search of his sister, and that he knows where they’re headed next. The 2 of them are sceptical, but press him for more info. The young Twi’lek asks them if they have transport, and after a little back and forth successfully negotiates himself a ride, in exchange for his still withheld info concerning The Moebius’s next destination. Hican is less than impressed.

While all this is going on, Atelia, somewhat bored and wondering why she’s even tagging along, overhears a name from across the cantina, “Fildran Ro’bahl”, and immediately stalks across the room, rudely interrupting a Rodian Woman complaining to her human companion [obligation triggered folks]. Without a hint of pleasantries or even so much as an introduction Atelia demands to know what she was saying about her former first mate, where he is, and what he’s doing. Slightly taken aback the rodian insists she barely knows him, and had only took him on as her gunner a few jumps ago. She goes on to complain about him being an unreliable drunk, and that the last straw was him, unprovoked, firing on an Imperial customs ship.
She tells Atelia she ditched him on Lannik, and never looked back.
Needless to say, Atelia was somewhat keen to take a detour on the way to wherever Naiem was going to lead them.

Still, the group had 1 more lead to follow here on Spice Terminus, so stopped off at the Station Security office, only to find out that Veneb had retrieved her wayward crewman, and our group returned to the Helia.

You shall have to post your blue books (if you can remember the order of them). I didn’t want to post them without your say so

Episode 2

Session 1 - continued

[I totally forget this next bit when posting last night]

When Atelia, Nawara, and Hican returned to the Helia with their newly acquired crew mate Naiem, something was amiss. The docking ring door was open.
Drawing weapons, and setting them to stun, they proceeded with caution, only to find a pair of shifty looking Aqualish thugs in Helia’s main crew lounge. Without hesitation, Hican took both of them down with a flurry of stun blasts from gis paired pistols. They then placed both thugs in the Airlock, and with the threat of a spacing, they revealed that they’d been sent by their boss to retrieve the Neuro-paralytics sold to RX-1B earlier and maybe do the droid in, while they were at it [The result of too many Threat on his Streetwise roll], turns out he wasn’t too impressed with the cut of RX’s jib.
Once the info had been extracted, Hican opened the outer airlock door, causing a moment of panic in the thugs, just before they realised the ship was still docked, and a corridor was on the other side, not the cold vacuum of space.

I really like that first really rambley one. Reading it back now, actually makes early game Atelia seem a little deranged

Session 2 - Part 1

[It was apparent, even at this early stage of the campaign, that my players were determined to ruin my plans for neatly placing Hyperspace jumps at the start or end of a session]

In the knowledge that The Moebius had passed through Spice Terminus, on her way to Karazak, Nawar thought to ask at the docking office for any info about them, pretending to be a former lover of Cyssc, desperate to to track down his lost flame. [For the life of me, I can’t remember how successful this was, or what extra info I gave them. But more significantly, this led to a persistent running joke among the players (still going today), regarding Nawara’s obsession with Trandoshans, and owning several terabytes of Trandoshan porn.]

Once undocked, and safely away from Spice Terminus, Nawara was willing to disclose what he claimed would be The Moebius’s destination with her captives. The slave markets of Rorak 4.
After this there was a lengthy discussions about the relative speed of Helia and a Space Master and some persuasion from Atelia, which resulted in the crew coming to the decision that a stop off at Lannik on the way to Hutt Space, should still leave them plenty of time to reach Rorak ahead of Veneb.

They plotted a course, and made the jump.

[IIRC the dice came out with around 6 day journey to reach Lannik. The below, is a fresh memory I benevolently gifted Atelia with]

This one comes back to you as you’re trying to get some rest during the jump after leaving Spice Terminus.

You’re nodding off in your Captain’s chair, your feet up on the console, the white blur of hyperspace outside is still visible as a glow through your eyelids. Faintly aware of what sounds like a slightly heated discussion in the galley, grumbling you get up to see what’s going on.

As you approach the galley, you hear Fildran talking, “look, she never listens to me these days, and this is big! Possibly the biggest score we’ve ever had, “

As you walk in you see the Twi’lek and Trask stood by the rehyd station, they both turn to look at you.

“Not interrupting am I boys?”

“What? No, it’s nothing, I…” Fildran replies, before Trask cuts him off,

“Just tell her"

“It’s just a rumour, probably a hoax…”

“Tell! Her!”

“…”

“He’s got a lead on something. Something huuuge, you’re gonna love it. Trust me"

Trask then stands there grinning at you, in that way that he does, the way that makes you feel as though someone is sneaking up behind you, waiting for Fildran to give you the details…

Session 2 - Part 2

[We took the opportunity of a proper jump to do a little “getting to know you” exercise I’d seen somewhere, going round the table one at a time, with everyone mentioning 1 thing about their PC’s past, to represent the small talk of being stuck on the ship together for a couple of days]

The Helia drops out of hyperspace a mere 47 hours later, having chopped a substantial amount of time off the journey with Rex’s wonderfully plotted course.
As they got closer to the sandy coloured orb that is the planet Lannik they were hailed:
“To the captain of Lantilian GX1 227-FB-3, this is Imperial cruiser Vigilance, please identify yourself”

After a short affirmative conversation they were escorted by a couple of TIE Fighters to rendezvous with a Gozanti, and boarded by a Customs Office and a squad of Storm Troopers.
Hican’s stash of spice had run dry by this point, so the search was short and uneventful, and they were sent on their way with specific landing coordinates.

[Cue my wide shot, and rubbish GM prose of their descent]

Lannik

A mainly rocky dessert planet, with extensive Mountainous regions, and some patches of forested areas. Lannik’s main industry is mineral mining operations, with most of the previously independent mining facilities now under Imperial control and their output vastly expanded.

The planet is relatively sparsely populated given its size, with fewer than 100 million residents scattered across its numerous mining communities, and 2 sizeable cities. The native Lannik make up around a third of the planet’s populace, the majority species now being human, with the rest an eclectic mix of other alien races.
Lannik’s main port and capital city is Palesia, with a population of c.3.5 million. Nearly a decade of Imperial occupation has now left the city somewhat a shadow of its former glory.
The Lannik High Court is still ostensibly the ruling body, although they are now subservient to the stationed Imperial Governor, who also has the use of a regiment of Stormtroopers with armoured support that are garrisoned here.

As you sweep down through the atmosphere across the arid landscape, you see that it’s mottled with forested areas and broken up by great mountain ranges, you can make out great scarred lines cutting through the landscape, arranged like the fingers of a spider web that centres on the capital city of Palesia, each one of them is part of a vast monorail system, ferrying thousands of tons of ore a day from the planet’s many mines into the capital.
A huge urban sprawl spreading out from the side of a ridged mountain range like some kind of fungal growth, Palesia’s buildings are an eclectic mix of modern towers, ancient and traditional low, flat roofed sandstone constructions, and worn down industrial complexes on the steppes nearer the mountains.
All through the city the monorail network cuts between the tower blocks, and looms over the older buildings, all converging in the industrial zone, where cranes and air lifters unload the massive bucket carriages and whisk them off to various smoke spewing factories throughout the zone.
There are numerous hangers and air fields dotted all around the city. In the industrial areas of the steppes there are giant landing zones big enough to accommodate the huge bulk freighters that haul processed and refined ores off planet. You see one of these monstrous freighters, nearly half the size of a Star Destroyer taking off as you come in.
The landing clearance you’ve been assigned leads you to a hanger bay in a run down area that is mainly ancient native architecture. The roof of the hanger opens like a camera lens as you descend towards it, closing again behind you once your landing gear clangs onto the diamond plate steel floor.

That’s brilliant. I might need to do that to help character development. One of my players, in particular, has a wonderful character that he made an interesting story for.

I would also highly endorse setting up a discord channel (if you’re not already playing online) and having PBP in character “drinks” or nights out in downtime.
We’ve had loads of character development that way, and all learnt so much about each other’s and our own PCs that way.

Session 2 - Part 3

The group decide to ask their grouchy Lannik Hanger attendant, Bisslak Mardol where one might go to find work on a ship, or take on new crew hires, and he gives them directions to The Bantha Cave, a popular Cantina/motel, not too far from here. They also enquire about the local BOSS office, figuring they may as well also look into The Moebius some more while they’re here. Bisslak tells them it’s all the way over in the Court District.

Hican, Nawara, and Naiem headed off to the BOSS Office, while Atelia, Rex, and RX went to The Bantha Cave.
It’s safe to say Hican and Naiem’s relationship had already gotten off to a fractious start on the short voyage from Spice Terminus. Naiem didn’t trust the Marshal, thinking him a spice addled degenerate, and Hican was not happy with the way “The Kid” had held them to ransom for the info, didn’t trust its value or accuracy, and thought him a naive and callow youth.

[cue some more of my rubbish GM prose (yes I am fishing for complements, and yet have nary a morsel #sademoji)]

The Bureau Of Ships Services
You journey across Palesia, the nearer you get to the centre of the city, the busier and less run down everything seems. All through the journey the roar of massive 30 carriage monorail trains regularly interrupts your conversation as they whizz by overhead.
The buildings in the Court district of Palesia are predominantly Imperial in style, with the rest being larger, more ornate versions of the small flat roofed dwellings on the edge of the city.
The BOSS office itself is a glass facade pyramid, around 10 stories tall, situated on a grand plaza large enough to park a frigate in, directly opposite is The High Court Palace. Built in the same sandstone as the other local buildings, The Palace is Large and ornate, with the last flakes of its old gilt detailing hinting at its former opulence, it has large minaretted towers at each of its corners, and a domed central roof, but it is overshadowed by the massive grey obelisk of a building currently under construction to the right, bearing a huge round Imperial motif across its front.
Flanking the wide stepped Palace entrance are a pair of AT-STs, and several groups of Stormtroopers patrol the plaza, which is quite busy, but maybe not as crowded as you’d expect, for such a key location.
As you take in the scene, you notice a Lannik vendor with small wheeled cart of baked goods being forcibly moved on by a pair of Stormtroopers, on the opposite side of the plaza to you. One the troopers shoves him with his rifle, sending him sprawling and knocking over his cart in the process.

Nawar and Hican proceed into the BOSS Office building while Naiem waits outside. After the Stormtroopers have moved on from the Vendor, he walks over to help him get his cart back upright.

The Bantha Cave
You walk across town in the direction Bisslak sent you, he insisted you wouldn’t be able to miss the place, and he wasn’t lying. This district has a large density of hangers and airfields, The Bantha Cave is located in the basin of a long since disused quarry, now enveloped by the urban sprawl that is Palesia. The quarry floor is now a large air field with enough landing space to berth several light freighters, and littered with crates, fuel lines, loading walkers, and port droids going about the business of servicing the ships that are currently parked here. The rim of the crater must be at least 10 stories deep, and every inch of it is covered in a multitude of protruding buildings, walkways, and recessed caves, being home to all manner of workshops, rest houses, rogue docs, and every other business you can imagine thriving off of the scum of the galaxy.

On the way there Rex got the feeling they were being watched, but couldn’t make out who [little did the group know, another obligation had been triggered, it would be another hyperspace jump, and several sessions of play before they realised whose]

The largest of these businesses is easily noticeable as you walk down one of the descending streets into the basin. The largest of the caves in the side wall, about a third of the way round from you, is fronted by a large 3 storey facade. Above the half open hangar double doors is a big flickering neon sign in galactic standard, which reads “The Bantha Cave”.

You walk in through the hangar bay doors of The Bantha Cave, and are immediately startled by the looming sight of a fully taxidermied bantha, stood in the middle of a large atrium area. Off to each side are three floors of walkways, behind which are a number of small motel rooms. At the far end of this busy cave, where it opens up even wider, is the cantina itself. A large circular bar surrounds a massive column of rock that stretches from floor to ceiling, tapering in the middle. There’s an eclectic mix of tables, benches, and couches of all shapes and sizes filling the floor space. Around the walls at various levels, with stone steps leading to the higher ones, are scores of smaller alcoves, caves, and rooms to give guest a little more privacy to discuss delicate business.

As you pass the bantha, on your way into the bar, you notice its flanks serve as a notice board. All up the long dead beast’s legs, and along its sides are hundreds of fliers, posters, and leaflets, advertising everything from ‘personal services’, to crew recruitment, bounties, and just about anything else you could possibly imagine, all either pinned into its hide, or crudely clipped to the matted fur.
The clientele here is as eclectic as the furnishings, the place even seeming to welcome droids, as you notice more than few ‘relaxing’ around the room, and whilst not quite packed it’s clearly very busy.

Back at the BOSS
Nawara and Hican had some bureaucracy to deal, despite Hican’s credentials serving as a good “in” [I quite deliberately dragged out a long and tedious process of being “processed” to enter the building and complete their request for info on the Moebius, I was hoping to make them feel like they were in the film Brazil] which culminated in a protocol droid takimg them to a small room, handing them a data slate and asking them to
“Please complete forms 37d, 852f, 13a, and additional sub form 13a-5, then await here for further instruction.”

Back at the Cave
After a little asking around about Fildran, Atelia finds out the following.
• He was here up until a couple of days, looking for work, anything he could get.
• Took a job with someone by the name of Exass Sual, flies a YG –4210 called The Maelstrom.
• The Maelstrom’s usually moored a couple of bays away, but has probably left by now.

Back at the BOSS
After filling in the forms and an excruciating wait, they are eventually handed a data slate by the Droid, containing the following
• The Moebius: Kuat Drive Yards, Space Master Medium Transport
• Captain & Owner: Cessc Veneb
• Warrants: Wanted for questioning in relation to multiple counts of Piracy, non-payment of port fees, engaging of ion drives at low altitude in a built up area.
• Last visit to Lannik: 00010/163 IC (2 weeks ago)
• Cargo: None
• Previous destination: Rorak

Spoiler Alert regarding their next stop.
So there next destination after this was due to be Daalang, however somewhere in the 2 years since we the start of this campaign, I had completely forgotten why they went there.
I had misremembered that it was a lead they got while on Lannik, but have gone through all my notes and prep, there’s not 1 mention of the place. Anyway, breif conflab with them on Discord just before crimbo, and I figured it out.
Turns out, back on Karazak, on the beach, they looked for shipping info or other clues in all the crates, rolled quite well, and I had to pull a planet name out of thin air. Quick glance at the Galactic map, and route between Karazak and Rorak, I picked Daalang. So before bumping into Naiem, this was their only lead, and where they had decided to go.
Then at the end of the next session, when Atelia’s Obligation came up on the roll, I had to pick a planet for the lead on Fildran, so I chose Lannik because it was nearby, making it a lovely convenient coincidence, and not too much of a hard sell for Atelia to persuade them to stop there.

I can’t help but hear “Da-Nang” every time you write “Daalang.” :D
Now you’ve got Manowar stuck in my head.

[Happy New Year folks. Crimbo break over, and tine to return to my campaign recap/journal thingy]

Episode 2

Session 3 [I think ]

Atelia heads straight off from the Bantha Cave to see if she can find The Maelstrom, with Rex and RX in tow.

Along the way, Rex is again convinced they’re being followed, and points this out to the others.

[More Rubbish GM prose for you]

This hangar is of a standard design with the iris roof, similar to the one where you’ve moored Helia, there are 2 Stormtroopers stood around near the entrance, they appear to be talking with each other, and not paying particular attention to the people moving around in the streets. [RX makes a point of staying well back, and keeping out of view of the Troopers]
As you go into the hangar, you can hear arguing going on.
There is a YG –4210 parked in there, and it appears to have been shackled with a grounding boot. Near the closed cargo ramp, a Devoronian is having a heated discussion with an Imperial Customs officer, who has a couple of Stormtroopers with him.
You listen in, it’s not hard to make out what they’re saying.
“Look I only met the guy a couple of days ago, this has got frag all to do with me or my ship!”
“Nonetheless, you and your ship will not be leaving this city until the investigation into the matter is complete, and you are clear of any involvement.”
“For frag’s sake, this is…”
“Be thankful you are not in custody too Captain, it can soon be arranged!”
As he says that the 2 troopers take a step forward, raising their rifles slightly as they do.
“I’m sure you can find accommodations nearby in the meantime, I hear The Bantha Cave has some particularly ‘pleasant’ distractions to keep a man busy.”
With that the customs officer turns on his heels and strides towards the entrance where you’re listening, the 2 troopers following a few paces behind.

The trio march past you, barely even paying the slightest attention to your presence.
As you look back into the hangar you see the devoronian trying the controls for his cargo ramp cursing, then punching the hull above him.
As you enter, he wheels round, a heavy blaster pistol emerging from under his long coat.
“Who the hell are you? That son of a wamprat has got frag all to do with me, so you take your grief elsewhere. You feel?”

Once they let him know why they were here, Exass Sual took no persuading whatsoever to spill the beans about Fildran

“I only hired him 2 days ago, took him on as a general ship’s hand.
Then hadn’t seen him for the last 24 hours.
Went over to a casino that the droid at the cave had told me he’d gone to.
Found a couple of troopers on the door, and the place had been shot up.
Got back here to find that slime ball had grounded my damn ship"

They get directions to the casino, which is at the same end of town as the BOSS Office, so after some brief com conversations, Hican agrees to investigate before the 2 groups meet up again.
Rex’s suspicions about being followed are also brought up, causing concern for all.

Hican’s investigations uncover a couple of salient pieces of info.
Fildran was at the casino, caused a scene, and got arrested.
And there’s very little in the form of a justice system here anymore. Most people arrested for even minor offences are just shipped off to the mines on the returning trains.
Hican also notices the location of the main Palesia Public Defence Office, which is basically the main local police precinct.

Episode 2

Session 3 (continued)

Hican decides to try and use his former career as a sector ranger to try and get acces to Fildran at the Palasia Public Defence Office (basically the local Police Precinct), but unfortunately lookong more like the washed up addict he is, than the law enforcement official he was, is given short shrift by the Lannik constabulary. So he heads back to the ship with RX, while Atelia and Nawara meet up to take a different tac.

Somewhere along the line here [I can’t be sure of the timeline] the crew collectively get the “bright idea” to get some cargo [I’m sure it was Rex’s player’s idea. The first of several attempts at wierd side hustles], in a bid to legitimise their travels, purchasing a ton of locally sourced salt to take with them to Daalang, and arranging for someone to drop it off at the ship later [this detail does matter later].

On the way back to Helia, Hican notices the tail they had earlier, and tries a little counter espionage in an attempt to corner their would be spy. Unfortunately he looses the mystery watcher, but again spots someone not dissimilarly dressed, and wearing the same boots as the first one [this detail matters].

Descriptions are shared over the com, possible multiple enemies, maybe linked, conversations are had about who they could be after.

Meanwhile, back at the PPDO, Atelia and Nawara had significantly greater success in blagging their way past the desk Sergeant, using a combination of Nawara’s silver tongue, and the cover of Atelia tracking a high value bounty, and just needing a quick word with the prisoner before he’s shipped off to the mines, never to be seen again. However, Nawara was soon to learn the full extent of Atelia’s rage, and his own stomach.

To be continued…

Session 3 (continued)

[So, I can’t rightly remember the exact details of Atelia and Nawara’s little conversation with Fildran (it was 2 years ago, in the before times), but hopefully @Vaiuri will be willing to fill in details, as I’m sure they’re slightly more burned into her memory. But how it ended, is basically legendary now, in the canon of our campaign.]

Having successfully blagged their way into the cells of the PPDO, Nawara also persuades the Lannik Sergeant to leave them unsupervised with the prisoner. Once the cell door closes behind them, Atelia was unable to control her rage, and launches into agressively grilling her former first mate. Shocked and terrified at seeing his old friend alive, and at her scarred and bionically augmented appearance, and in his drink and spice addled state, Fildran does little more than bable grovelling apologies at her. Occasionally repeating “It wasn’t meant to go down like that”.

With the help of Nawara’s concern that they don’t need to end up in a cell themselves, Atelia resists the urge to kill the cowering blue Twi’lek, and instead pins against the wall to just give him a beating.

[At this point, I had Atelia’s player roll a Brawl check against him, just to see how much of beating this would be. A Triumph was rolled, a request from the player as to how to spend it was made, and I granted it.]

Pinning Fildran against the wall, Atelia’s rage takes over completely as she sees the opportunity not just for some revenge, but instead for justice. Her mismatched cybernetic eye flickers, 1 of many repairs to her body following the incident, as her face closes in on his, and her bionic hand darts forward, deftly plucking Fildran’s eye from his face.

Releasing him to drop to the floor, screaming and clutching at his face as Nawara looks in in stunned horror, Atelia drops Fildran’s eye on the floor and crushes it beneath her mechanical heel, before announcing that they’re done here.
The pair of them then promptly leave the PPDO, Nawara pausing only briefly to let the custody sergeant know to get Fildran some medical attention.

As soon as they’re out Nawara coms the others to announce that they’re leaving Lannik as soon as he and Atelia get back to the Helia.

Session 4 [I think, honestly who knows at this point]

Atelia and Nawara hotstep back to The Helia, looking over their shoulders for any official persuit.

Meanwhile, back at the ship Rex begins prepping for flight while he awaits his large delivery of salt, RX squirrels himself away in the make shift med-bay he’s begun to build in one of the cabins, and Hican, in preparation for another Hyperspace jump, decides to take a large dose of Glitterstim and sits in the main lounge as high as a kite.

Upon the return of our pair of interrogators, Atelia immediately skulks off to her cabin to brood, and Nawara awaits the salt delivery. A short while later an elderly stevedore arrives at The Helia, with a repulsorsled loaded with Rex’s crates of salt. And then things happened…

[I have to admit, I am occasionally a cruel GM(but only in a messing with my players kinda way). So I had Hican take perception check, which with the extra assist from the Glitterstim Bonus Blue dice, he passed. And the player **really** went with it, much to my joy]

Hican, high as a kite, spots the elderly stevedore moving crates around in Helia’s cargo bay, and immediately notices his boots. Which appear to be identical to those worn by the varied mysterious strangers who seemed to be following our crew around earlier. Instantly succumbing to his spice fueled paranoia, he shouts out something about, boots spies, and cults, before launching himself physically at the old man. Desperately trying to defwnd himself from flailing former marshall, the old man retreats back down the loading ramp, and Nawara is aghast at yet another of his crew mates randomly attacking strangers.

The “brawl” went on for a few moments, with Hican proving an ineffective combatant, until Atelia emerged down the ramp to restrain him.

Once Nawara had turned his charms and a small sum of creds towards placating the Marshall’s victim, our crew quickly made their exit from the planet of Lannik, plotted a course to Daalang, and made the jump to hyperspace.

I do opening crawls for my Roll20 game, and was bad about remembering to do it after a certain point. My rule for this new campaign is to make a new crawl every 3-4 sessions now, or when there is a logical jump forward in the game.

Good idea.
You’ve just reminded me that we used to do a sort of Pathé News type “previously on…” written by Vaiuri every session.
The only reason I can’t remember where all the episode breaks are is because this was all about 2 years ago at this point, lol.

Having found more notes, (including one of Atelia’s blue books), I have realised there were some more things Fildran revealed during the brief interrogation.

Atelia demanded to know where old ship The Loreley was now. He told her that Trask had scrapped it [this did not go down well]
He also claimed that he was the only one sticking up for her with the others, while also repeating that it was not his fault.
